At Oasis each individual will be assessed on his or her own merit regarding admission to our rehab and, if necessary, to our detoxification programme, while also taking into consideration the safety of the community in the centre as a whole. Intervention information is also available to those needing to help a loved one or co-worker into treatment at Oasis Counselling Centre.
The following procedure is followed for admission into the treatment centre and the detoxification programmes at Oasis:
New residents will be collected from the airport/bus terminus
A medical assessment will be made on admission into the rehab.
If a detoxification programme is deemed necessary, arrangements will be made.
The Oasis team will remain in daily therapeutic contact throughout this process.
